The majority of US politicians are thinking of becoming president
Even those who claim to serve the people, being in the poisonous atmosphere of politics and think of nothing but more power.
All of them do not dare to say this goal until the right time. Because there are many applicants and everything ends with one mistake.
Now suppose someone in your party is most likely to win the election.
That means he/she can defeat the other rivals in the early stages of the election and be the main candidate of his party.
Rest assured that person will not miss such a special opportunity to become president.

Why is Trump dangerous?
The answer is obvious and was given a few lines ago.
He is the main Republican candidate for the 2024 elections. He can easily defeat all his rivals in the early stages and no one can stand against him.
In 2024, Biden will be 82 years old and the chances of him running again are very low.
Trump is plainly unsuited to be president and yet he has a good chance of winning a second term. If he runs, no other Republican will challenge him in a primary. And the Democrats do not have a candidate that is strong enough to beat him.

The logical Democrat candidate to run is Kamala Harris but her success is contingent on a successful Biden administration. She is not a strong candidate herself as evidenced by her unsuccessful primary campaign which she had to shut down in December 2019 for lack of funds.
As unbelievable is it sounds, our only hope of stopping a Trump run in 2024 are the numerous criminal and civil suits against him that are planned.
This is a very unpleasant truth, but the darkness of the night is coming.
